Course Agenda

Candidates should have a knowledge and understanding of the following items before any CPCS testing.

• • Pre-start and running checks on machine
  • How to prepare and travel a machine over varying terrain
  • How to manoeuvre an excavator in a confined space
  • How to set up a machine and carry out various excavations to a given tolerance
  • Load vehicles
  • Lifting, Moving, and Placing loads (if required)
  • Grade, Spread, and level material to requirements
  • Remove and reattach bucket
  • Place machine in and out of service condition
  • Loading and unloading procedures
  • Theory Testing
  • Practical Testing
