A17(e) – to add this endorsement to your existing red card, this course is ½ day of Training followed by the CPCS Theory and Practical test.
Telescopic Forklift Course Agenda
Candidates should have a knowledge and understanding of the following items prior to any CPCS testing.
- Carrying out pre-start and running checks on the machine
- How to prepare and travel a machine over varying terrain with & without loads
- How to manoeuvre a Telescopic Handler in a confined space both forward & reverse
- Set up a machine in order to lift various loads
- Load vehicles & Loading Tower to 75% of the full working range of vehicle
- Ensure load security & integrity
- Keep within safe working parameters
- Place machine in and out of service condition
- Explain loading and unloading procedures
- Theory Testing
- Practical Testing
