Streetworks 5 Day Operative or Supervisor

The New Roads and Street Works training course for Operative / Supervisors is suitable for those who are responsible for performing/supervising excavation and reinstatement duties on public roads, individuals attending the course must be experienced in this sector and have a good knowledge of working in the highway

The full course for Operatives / Supervisors is very ‘hands-on’ and includes practical/supervising exercises and documenting evidence as well as classroom-based training for each required unit. On completion of the training in each unit, candidates will need to be successful in taking a computer-based multi-choice question paper, this consists of 20 questions per unit and candidates must achieve 16/20 to pass.

Standard Operative 5-Day Course covering units LA – Unit 06 Reinstatement of Hot–Lay bituminous materials – Assessments of the following additional units can be added at any time and available upon request.

  • Unit 07: Reinstatement of concrete slabs.
  • Unit 08: Reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete footways

Standard Supervisor 5-Day Course covering units LA – Unit S5 Monitor Reinstatement in bituminous materials – Assessments of the following additional units can be added at any time and available upon request.

  • Unit 06: Monitor Reinstatement of concrete slabs.
  • Unit 08: Monitor Reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete footways
