CPCS / CITB A36 Lorry Loader

| Basic Training 4 Days This is for candidates with little or no experience in operations of a Lorry Loader Upon completion candidates will have shown a knowledge and understanding of: Carrying out pre start and running checks of the carrier vehicle & lifting appliance Configure the lorry loader & carrier vehicle for site & road travel Manoeuvre the carrier vehicle into position in order to carry out lifting exercises Set up carrier vehicle to carry out lifts at minimum & maximum radii Load vehicle in accordance with industry practices Secure loads on vehicle bed in accordance with industry practices Remove and reattach bucket Place machine in and out of service condition Explain loading and unloading procedures Upon completion of 4 day course an Intermediate Construction award will be issued for Training and candidates can then go forward for CPCS Technical Test. Experienced operator(s) For experienced operators familiar with operations of Lorry Loaders we offer a 1 day formal training section prior to test to brush up on any bad habits that may have been picked up over the years. Upon completion of a 1 day course an Intermediate Construction award will be issued for training and candidates can then go forward for CPCS Technical Test. CPCS Technical Test Theory test - A recorded oral questioning session of up to 1hr 15 min duration and candidates must pass this test before any practical test is undertaken. Practical test - A timed category specific practical test Lorry Loader the time allowed is 1hr 45min. Only upon completion of technical test can CPCS 'Trained Operator' card be applied for.
<b>Location</b><br> Courses are held at our Training Centre in Corfe Mullen, which is easily accessible for the whole of the South of England being just off the A31. Alternatively, we can deliver training on clients sites, subject to minimum requirements as laid down by the CITB /CPCS scheme. >!!
