CPCS / CITB A09 Forward Tipping Dumper

| Introduction Basic Training 2 Days This is for candidates with little or no experience in operations of a Forward Tipping Dumper. Upon completion candidates will have shown a knowledge and understanding of: Carrying out pre start and running checks. Set the Dumper for site & road travel. Travel over differing types of terrain, including rough undulating ground both loaded & unloaded. Travel up & down substantial inclines loaded & unloaded. Position dumper to receive loads. Comply with loading procedures. Discharge loads into trenches & over edges. Place machine in and out of service condition Explain loading and unloading procedures on & off of Transporter. Upon completion of 2 day course an Intermediate Construction award will be issued for Training and candidates can then go forward for CPCS Technical Test. Experienced operator(s) For experienced operators familiar with operations of Forward Tipping Dumpers we offer a 1 day formal training section prior to test to brush up on any bad habits that may have been picked up over the years. Upon completion of a 1 day course an Intermediate Construction award will be issued for training and candidates can then go forward for CPCS Technical Test. CPCS Technical Test Theory test - A recorded oral questioning session of up to 1hr duration and candidates must pass this test before any practical test is undertaken. Practical test - A timed category specific practical test for Forward Tipping Dumper the time allowed is 1hr. Only upon completion of technical test can CPCS 'Trained Operator' card be applied for.
Location Courses are held at our Training Centres in Corfe Mullen & Isle of Wight, which is easily accessible for the whole of the South of England being just off the A31. Alternatively, we can deliver training on clients sites, subject to minimum requirements as laid down by the CITB /CPCS scheme.
